You can always use a great weekend

This has been a great weekend. I have found time to work on the Perfect Pie, do a little shopping, visit some friends, and spend a lot of time with hubby. We had a little mini trip to Minneapolis this weekend for the bike show. The drive north was not so fantastic as it was super windy on Friday. It was bitterly cold this weekend so we tried to stay indoors as much as possible.

Quick rundown of the weekend:
Friday: Drive North, VIP dinner before the expo
Saturday: 2 bike shows/expos (lots of free cycling goodies), yummy sushi dinner in St. Paul with some good friends
Sunday: Final run through the major bike show, shopping, hit the road home
Monday: Day off (Wohoo), catch up!

Progress has been made on Perfect Pie, but it is still up in the air as to the completion before the Olympic flame goes out. I am not betting on it, but am very happy that I started over. Here are a couple pics!

Our dinner at Sajiya on Saturday was really good. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys sushi. My favorite sushi item are the Maki (rolls). Hubby & I ordered their Spicy Tuna Rolls, Tempura Rolls, and Sushi & Sashimi dinner. We were so excited by the presentation of the food that we snapped a few pics of Laura & Brandon's Dragon Roll...check out the eyes (he is sideways in the pic on the right)!

On a side note, I am looking forward to this year's race season. When the weather warms up, I will be ready to hit the road with hubby for some races! (Spring could not get here soon enough)

I agree with your comment that Spring could not get here soon enough. I am ready for a warm up, that's for sure. Dan likes his new bag and tires - thank you!!!

I had no idea you were a cyclist. My husband is too. I dont join in , but I love his fellow riders. He too cannot wait for spring. The bike is in the living room.

Well, I am by no means a cyclist...just a cheering squad for my husband. He is gearing up for a big year!

Wow, that does sound like a nice weekend. I know exactly what you were driving through with the wind on Friday cause I was feeling it on a plane!
