At any rate, some serious knitting was done while feverishly watching football. I have a short list left on this mitten before Thursday's knitting group & training session with Knittripps (afterall, the Olympics start this Friday)!
Any thoughts/comments on how lame the commercials were this go around during the Big Game? Not so impressive if you ask me.
Short list on Mittens:
Kitchner stitch the top of mitten 2 & correct kitchner finish on mitten 1
Finish Thumb of mitten 2
Duplicate stitch my little correction for mitten 2
Weave in ends for both mittens
Block
Wear! (Follow the Groundhog's lead...6 more weeks)
My goal is to have this short list completed by Wednesday. I think I can make it after the progress I made today on #2
On a side note, I started reworking my Celebrity Look-alike Shawl. It is definitely nice to have a break from working on size 2 needles, and it is always good to keep up with my crochet skillz.

Almost time for Grey's Anatomy....YES!

Those mittens have just turned out beautifully! You may have a short list still to complete, but it'll take you no time.
yeah for mittens!
Seneca did make it in for one play that I saw. After my vacation I am ready to start KNITTING again!
Lovely mittens. That Kitchener stitch gets me every time. I still don't have it down.
I see you're from Iowa; which Pier 1 is closing? Wondering if it's close enough to my neck of the woods (Ames) to partake in the big sale. Always a Catch-22, eh?
Southside Pier 1 by Southridge mall...they told me that they are open until Feb24, things are clearing out fast...but they have a lot of stuff!
