Yesterday I went out to
Pier 1 to do a little bit of shopping and pick up some new
lovely wine glasses, and I found out that the Pier 1 in my neck of the woods is closing! Yup, that isn't so great (although there is still another one in the area), but everything is
50% off the lowest price! Woohoo! So, what turned into just a small trip for wine glasses, got expanded a bit. I got a few cushions for floor seating, candles, and even picked up a chair that looks nice with our bedroom set. Score!
On a sadder note, I have discovered that mitten 2 deviates from the pattern a bit and from mitten 1.

It looks as though I skipped a row or 2. One of my plans for the New Year was to correct anything I am not happy with when I am working a project. You know, striving for knitted perfection? I decided that I can probably do a couple of duplicate stitches at the end on this one to match the little cross on mitten 1. What do you think? Is this doable?

How aggravating when a pattern has mistakes. I say go for the duplicate stitch...it could do the trick.
Duplicate stitch for sure. He he he! No one will ever know.
