Finished! I used the Lion Brand Cable
Luxe Tunic pattern and modified it to make a
capelet. I thought that this would be a perfect maternity knit to keep me covered and allow for
comfortability and growth of belly. As you can see from the belly, things are progressing with little baby
bam's zoo.

This is actually the back side (you can see the seam up towards the top, but the actual front has kind of a wonky center-cable. See what I mean?

All in all I am pretty pleased with the results. The Lion Brand Wool-ease softened up quite nicely after blocking and I think that this piece will carry me through the rest of
preggie time and beyond.
After Cable Luxe, I have cast on for Baby Surprise Jacket. I am pretty hyped up on the baby knits now, especially with the new stash of yarn. The thing about baby knits is that most of the time they are pretty quick projects that don't take up a lot of yarn. What are your favorite baby knit patterns?

Looking good! I think it looks nice and cozy. I have baby knits on the brain too and I'm still looking for good inspiration. I've been a little interested in knit toys???
looks awesome!
Hi! I finished my first baby surprise jacket a few months ago and they are so fun to knit! I would definitely recommend adding length to the sleeves, as they are more three-quarterish than full-length. Enjoy!

Very nice! I didn't knit myself much when I was pregnant- just socks. Maybe next time I'll do something like this!
