Ah, Spring is near. Today we are pushing into the 60's which means everyone is getting the "urge" to go out and play. Me? Well, a Spring cold is lurking...boo hiss. Saturday I woke up with a sore throat and then Sunday I woke up with an even sorer throat and dealt with a drippy nose all day. Today, I woke up feeling marginal and decided to go into work. By lunch, I was ready to go home and take a nap. My partners at work think that it is better to go and rest and nip the sickness in the bud, then to infect the team and put a strain on yourself. Even when I don't feel well, I feel guilty not going to work. What is with that? Lord knows I suffer through migraines at work several times a month and do not go home. Oh well, who was I to argue? Home I went.
A nap was nice. Me and the kitties. Boy were they happy to see me come through the door. They told me that they wanted the porch screen open so they could watch Mr. Fat-bottom Squirrel. They were so happy! Trowa even woke me up from my nap with a "meow meow" to tell me thanks for opening the windows!
I zipped through side one of Kotan this past weekend. Side one looks a little small to me, but it is the correct measurements according to the pattern. Since it is unblocked, the edges are curling a little, but you get the idea. I think this pattern ended up being a good choice for the crazy variegation...what do you think?

Hope you will model the poncho for us.Spring colds are the worst...feel better soon.
I hope you are feeling better! Your wrappy is looking good...nice and cozy.
I definitely think it works well for the variegation of that yarn. It seems you're going to have it finished in next to no time!
