Still in discontent with patterns, I thought that French Girl patterns might be my answer. I stopped by one of our local yarn shops where I thought that they would carry these (I was wrong). After some awkward conversations with my local shop (sometimes people are just not on their A game no matter how many leads you give them into crafty knitter conversation), I found the pattern book that will (hopefully) be my salvation: Transitions (Book number 3) by Cornelia Tuttle Hamilton.
There is a great poncho (aka capelet if I shorten it up a little) pattern in there that is destined to use this yarn. They use the same brand (Arucania), but a chunky yarn. I know that I can adapt...woot woot!
What do you think?
This book also has one b*tchin' skirt. too.....who loves this?

that is great, i love that book. can't wait to see it!
I'm usually not one for knitted skirts, but that one is pretty awesome!
I'm sort of in a slump with the knitting too, but I've found that lace knitting is slowly, but surely bringing me out of it!
