Racers watch out for that tree!

This has been a racing weekend for hubbs. Saturday there were 3 small races that he competed in (a hillclimb, a time trial, & a short track). They went alright, but hubbs was looking forward to doing well today with the cross country race. The first lap was going well for hubbs, but in lap 2 his chain broke and he went over his handlebars.....into a tree. Man vs. tree? Tree wins. Ouch. He cut up his leg pretty good and managed to scrape up his side underneath his right arm. He managed to stay in the race and comlete his final lap, what a champ! His hand is what is bothering him the most, and we are hoping that it is not broken. More updates on that later....

Sock number 2 was finished today!

For details on the socks, please see my last post.

Happy Father's Day to all of the great Dad's out there (especially mine & hubbs)!

Sure hope his hand is ok... The socks look great. Funny how different they look in a solid yarn. I want to make another pair of them.
