Projects

I am planning on spending some serious time knitting over the next week or so. I have been thinking that Veste Everest is not enough on its own (still loving the cables) to keep me busy. I am toying with teaching myself how to knit 2 socks at the same time with circular needles which looks like an interesting technique. I have started to work on some mittens from Melanie Falick's Weekend Knitting and once I have done a pair of the Super Mittens, I am tempted to move on to THESE .

What to do, what to do.....I am already thinking about my Christmas knitting. What is everyone knitting for holiday gifts? Socks, scarves, sweaters???

I can't even begin to think about holiday knitting until I finish my Harry Potter scarves (the movie comes out around Thanksgiving).

I finally figured out the 2 circs thing a few weeks ago, and it sure makes small circumferences faster. Faster than DPNs that is.

I'm trying to plan my Christmas knitting (now that I've finished last years) but am having total brain blocks of what to knit. But I seriously doubt there will be any sweaters. Or maybe one for a 4 year old.

I was in Best Buy last night and they were showing a commercial for the new Harry Potter movie on all the tvs at the same time!

I knit a pair of socks on two circs until I got to the heel... then I just couldn't do it. Now I still use 2 circs but do one sock at a time.

In reference to the other comments, I'm SO excited about HP!

I'm knitting lots of scarves again this year for the holidays.
