Soccer Mom

I think it is about time I put one of those Soccer Mom stickers on my SUV. Yup, I have a little soccer player. Ein loves his soccer balls. He has gone through several of these cheap-o toys and they seem to be his favorite right now. I think it is the squeaker inside that adds to the fuzzy appeal.

In other news, today was spent having a shower for a good friend of the family who is getting married. It is always nice to see a couple so in love. The groom (our good family friend) spent a little time at the shower, and it sounds like everything is going well for them in Chicago. Looking forward to the wedding in December!!

On the knitting front? I will get back to Kyoto some time. The ball winder is calling my name to prepare some more yarn!
