Oh, BABY!

Dear Blog Readers,

I am so sorry to have been holding back on you. But I am sure you understand how it is. Waiting for the perfect time, sharing the news with family, friends, and now the blog community of friends as well. Hubbs and I are having a baby! Through the first trimester with no morning sickness....many more weeks to go. We are excited, thrilled...you name it!

We are adding on to the zoo.

Now, on to my promise to you faithful readers. I promise to not make this blog a baby blog, but keep it to my general format of life and crafty endeavors. I must confess however, that baby knits are on the brain, so you may see more baby infiltrating to the blog through knits and projects.

And speaking of projects, the Breckenridge Shawl is complete! I am struggling to find the tag that describes this yarn, but it is from a cone that I picked up at the Fiber Store. If I happen to stumble across the tag again, I will update the post. Now that you know my baby news, I am sure that you will be eyeing my belly and form more closely in my pics. This pic was taken today, in the 13th week. So far I have had minimal weight gain (just a few pounds). I hear that the second trimester however is when I will start ramping up :)
