Aggh. Do you ever have one of those moments where you get something in your head that you want (in my case my Red Hot Chili Peppers CD Blood Sugar Sex Magik) only to realize that you have not seen it in years? AND, that you do not have it anymore for whatever reason? I woke up this morning with Suck my Kiss in my head, and you know how it is...you just gotta hear it. I pull up my ITunes to find that indeed we do have the MP3 on our computer. Score! Side comment: old RHC is definitely the way to go. I think the older stuff is way better, not so Red Hot Whiny-Peppers as hubby would say.
I have been under the weather this week and was out a couple of days from work. My cold is still hanging on (runny nose, cough, sore throat, swollen glands) during this rainy Iowa weekend. That has been not so fun, but it has been a lot of needed downtime. And what do we do in downtime? KNIT!

I finished my first dishcloth! I plan to make several of these for part of a gift. Do I wash these before I gift them?

Also, in my downtime, I have been surfing the web and came across this blog: Slipped Stitch. I found this "anti-pattern" for a beaded-icord and thought I would fiddle around with it. I definitely see myself making one of these in the future. How Bo-Ho.
Hope it is sunny in your neck of the woods!

All this rain makes me want to curl up into a little ball and do nothing. Of course, there is too much to do and I can't.
I still haven't forgiven the Red Hot Chili Peppers for their sucky performance in Iowa City when I was in college.
I wash my dishclothes before I give them as gifts and press them lightly if necessary. I also wash them before use.
I've been washing my dishcloths before gifting them as well. I don't dry them in the dryer though... I just block mine.
Jeez, rain rain rain... should we start building an arc? ;)
Hope you're feeling better soon. I love the dishcloth and the beaded I-cord. When I have some time (which is definitely lacking at the moment) I might have to try that.
