Ok, now what on earth do you do with these bad boys?
I received these from my husband's mom's old knitting goodies. We have no idea what she used them for. Some project ideas I have are:
1. Knitted rugs
2. Large openwork shawl/poncho
3. (and Ein's favorite) : Dog toy
What do you think?

I received some US 50s from my Grandma's crafting stash. She said that she used them to knit a shirt out of strips of fabric that matched a skirt back in the 70s.
I guess, you could give that a try. But, I would vote for shawl or poncho knit with a few different textures of yarns held together.
